Bill Craig is the chairman to the board of directors. He is a communications industry consultant with Network Mapping Associates. He has served on the board of directors since 2002. Bill is also a member of the Vancouver Lions Club in Vancouver, Washington.
Suz Hahn joined the board in March, 2008. She is a member of the Portland Suburban alumnae chapter of Delta Gamma, one of the oldest and largest women’s fraternities in the United States and Canada. Since 1936, Delta Gamma’s philanthropic purpose has been Service for Sight.
Jim Kolshinski is the vice–chairman to the board of directors. He is one of the Foundation’s originating members and has continuously served on the board of directors since the WSBF was formed, in 1995. He is a retired accountant. Jim is also a member of the Ridgefield Lions Club in Ridgefield, Washington.
Marc Krsul joined the board of directors in June, 2009. Marc is a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager for Edward Jones in Ridgefield, Washington. In Marc’s words, “There's not another organization around as unique or as powerful as the Washington School for the Blind Foundation. I wanted to be part of a group of people who empower individuals to better themselves.”
Mandy Lopez joined the board of directors in October, 2009. Mandy is a Vice President and Cash Management Officer for First Independent Bank in Vancouver, Washington. Mandy was actively involved, volunteering on WSBF projects prior to joining the board. When asked why she wanted to join the Foundation, Mandy said she enjoyed her work on the Fondation’s projects and “Wanted to be part of an organization that helps people to overcome their challenges to become successful and independent.”
Janet Merz is the treasurer to the Foundation. She joined the board of directors in 2000. Janet is the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent’s office and the Board of Trustees for the Washington State School for the Blind.
John McKibbin joined the board of directors in 2005. He is a developer with Riverwalk on the Columbia, LLC, in Camas, Washington. John has served as the executive director of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, as a Commissioner the Clark County board of Commissioners, and has served in the Washington State legislature.
J. D. Nellor is the immediate past chairman of the board of directors. He is one of the Foundation’s originating members and has continuously served on the board of directors since the Foundation was formed, in 1995. He is an attorney at law with the firm of Nellor Retsinas Crawford, PLLC, in Vancouver, Washington. J. D. is also a member of the Vancouver Lions Club in Vancouver, Washington.
Dr. Dean Stenehjem is an ex officio board member. He is one of the Foundation’s originating members and has continuously served on the board of directors since the Foundation was formed, in 1995. Dean is the superintendent of the Washington State School for the Blind. He is also a member of the Ridgefield Lions Club in Ridgefield, Washington.
